HCSSA Regulatory Training

Join us for a joint training opportunity with the Texas Health & Human Services for the Most Frequently Cited Violations for Home and Community Support Services Agencies.   |   8:30am-5:00pm

This one-day course addresses the most common licensing violations cited by Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Regulatory Services. The training will also discuss HHSC survey tasks as it relates to Licensed Home Health Services (LHHS) and Personal Assistance Services (PAS) agencies.

It provides you an opportunity to discuss and identify health and safety concerns for agencies across the state.

In this course, you will:
  • Identify the most frequently cited deficiencies
  • Review sample survey citations
  • Recognize areas where your agency may improve patient services
Why is this important?
According to HHSC's January 2019 Regulatory Services Report: "the total number of HCSSA contacts and visits increased in fiscal year 2018 compared to fiscal year 2017 by 16.8 %"
This is the highest level in five years! We expect this trend to continue.

Why should I attend?
Knowing the most commonly cited deficiencies may help you anticipate issues and resolve them to maintain compliance and avoid citation. Regardless of your agency size, you can learn something to improve your agency's service to consumers.
