As your statewide trade association, the Texas Association for Home Care & Hospice is working hard on your behalf to educate Legislators and protect the industry in preparation for the next Legislative Session. We need your help to provide evidence that the lack of funding for home care is creating an urgent access to care crisis.
Based on the services you provide, we are asking you to participate in the Private Duty Nursing or Community Care data collection surveys below and provide essential data that will provide evidence illustrating the state of this emergency.
TAHC&H needs your help and participation to ensure that rate reimbursements are addressed, and that Medicaid reimbursement rates for attendant care more accurately reflect the cost of services. These surveys will show the growing gap between what is authorized and what agencies are able to provide; a key indicator of access in home care.
The workforce crisis has hit every sector of the health care industry, and we appreciate that without attention and action addressing rate reimbursement, our industry cannot continue doing more with less – that time has passed. With your data, TAHC&H will be able to better illustrate the urgency of this crisis to legislators and policy makers.
