Palmetto GBA and the Review Choice Demonstration

Home Health Providers in Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio, Florida or Texas are gearing up for the implementation of the Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) in their states. TAHC&H is here to ensure you get the top tier education you need to be successful.  We have partnered with Palmetto GBA and two Illinois providers to bring you two in person informative workshops with our first ever live stream opportunity.  During this presentation, Tammy Tucci will focus on the RCD program and selection process through the eService portal. She will discuss in detail the initial review and subsequent review choices. CJ Sims will follow presenting the clinical side of the Home Health benefit and what Palmetto GBA is looking for when submitting a Pre Claim Review (PCR). Finally, two providers from Illinois will wrap up the session with practical tips and tested processes to help you be successful with RCD.

RCD Goals:
1. Assist CMS in developing improved methods to identify, investigate, and prosecute potential fraud
2. Protect the Medicare Trust Fund
3. Reduce the rate of improper payments
4. Improve provider compliance with Medicare rules and requirements
5. Offers providers increased flexibility and choice
6. Risk-based changes to reward providers who show compliance with policies

Effective date: Illinois to begin June 1, 2019! Ohio, Texas, North Carolina, and Florida will be included in the demonstration. CMS and Palmetto GBA will provide at least 60 days’ notice prior to the demonstration starting in each additional state.

If you must cancel your reservation for any reason, notify TAHC&H, Attn: Jessica Campbell via fax or email (jessica@tahch.org). A 90% refund will be given if written request is received by 6/11/19. A 50% refund will be given if a written request is received 6/12/19 - 6/17/19. No refund will be made the day of the conference or after.
